WHO WE ARE

Company of the Wolpertinger aims to provide family friendly historical reenactment in Auckland, primarily based on german mercenaries from the 15th to 16th Century known as Landksnecht (find out more about them here)

We accept members from 13 years of age and have both a combatant and noncombatant arm in an attempt to cater to all.

So come along to one of our next training sessions or craft days and see if we're for you!

We accept members from ages 13 and up and your first 3 training sessions are free!

Please note that there is instructor discretion for combatant training simply to ensure the safety of all involved, and parents must remain present for the session if your child is 13 years of age.

Our club contains a craft arm for those more interested in the crafts of medieval and renaissance times. Activities here can have a huge range, including things such as sewing, wood turning, medieval board games, jester skills and more! We have regular craft days. COMBAT TRAINING

For those that would like to learn about medieval combat, and fighting with swords, shields, daggers, spears and quarterstaves and more our combatant arm may be for you! This arm trains in various combat weapons and systems for both individual fighting and mass combat. Combat training is every second week so swing past our Facebook page to check training is on as we may be crafting or off having fun at an event.

EVENTS

We attend a range of events, both small and large, throughout the country

These include both public events such as Armistice and Waldorf school faire as well as private events open only to other reenactors
